I have to say this school is not the right school for children of the town in glen cove.!
I recently just pulled my children out of that school. I felt that my children were not being properly taken care of. I also heard from numerous of people that there enrollment is soooo low due to a lack of interest and care in there school. The Director is never there either. Also, The had to let go of like 6 staff members last year due to low enrollmet also. They pay there staff low and the claim that they are center of excellent but that mean nothing to the early childhood education world! That is an award that tutor time gives not the state!
So, think twice before you send your kid there.

Not all but some parents are not actively involved in the child's care/educational needs. Some never have a problem with these types of preschool/day care centers. As a establishment begins to grow children are not the number one priority any longer, money takes over.
As with Just Kids in Middle Island, NY my child's IEP was altered with additional services which he did not require just to receive additional funding from the County and school District. Hey, I don't blame you, if you don't feel something is correct question it and make the necessary changes.

I have had all three of my children enrolled in Tutor Time in Glen Cove over the past 12 years and have nothing but the utmost respect for the ownners and staff many of whom have been with Tutor Time for almost 12 years.
During the fall of 2009 my husband became unemployed and we could no longer afford to keep our child at Tutor Time the owners Beth and Jonathan offered to us free care while my husband searched for work. You tell me who else other than a family member would offer this? My husband is now employed and we have continued sending our last child to their Pre-Kindergarten program. We Love, Love Tutor Time in Glen Cove.
