I purchased TV Ears from a mailer received. They had a 30-day satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, less shipping charges. I orered the item & was very pleased with the product. Five weeks after receiving, they quit working. I called tech support. They were very helpful but my unit wasn't working. I mailed back the unit for a bench check. They check out OK with a written narrative of what they did. They said the unit was properly working. When I tried them on again, there was no sound comming from the unit. I called tech support again & through a series of tests & conversation, apparently I had to re-set my TV to enable the unit to work again. The unit is now working properly. A week or so later we had an electric storm & the unit quit working again. Another call to tech support, bu this time I was informed the transformer (?) in the unit had burned out and it would be necessary to send them $49. They said anytime there is an electrical storm there exists the possibility of the transformer in the unit to burn out. I paid $99 + tax & shipping for the unit that lasted me a total of 90-days.
