Like many others, I too have fallen prey to these scam artists. I ordered 3 dvd sets on 06/30/07. My credit card was charged to www.sxr.ca on 07/01/07. I received confirmation emails indicating that the product would be to me in 14 days.

My suspicions began to grow when I realized that the tracking numbers they sent me were bogus. There were entries for them on Canada Post's webpage, but that was all. Just entries. No confirmation of the dvd's being sent, received, shipped, or anything. Just submission of electronic details.

I emailed the company using their web-based form and the email link in the confirmation email (dvdsupport@tvboxset.com) no less than 8 times from 07/05/07 to 07/21/07 and I never received a single response from them.

I spoke with someone at the contact number on www.sxr.ca's webpage, but they were completely unhelpful. Since then I have been unable to reach anyone at that number, remaining instead in a perpetual cycle of voicemail.

I called my credit card company on 07/21/07 and had the charges reversed.

This company is obviously some sort of scam, as many of the people posting here have still not received their dvd's after months of waiting. What confuses me is that some people DO receive their dvd's.

If this is only a credit card harvesting scam or a bogus company, then why are they bothering to send dvd's out at all? It doesn't make sense to me that they completely rip some people off, but other people get their products.
