I ordered an Ally McBeal DVD set back in June of 2007. It didn't arrive in time for my wife's birthday so I decided to just wait and give it to her for Christmas and stored them in my office.

When she opened it up on Christmas she was very excited. The picture quality was very good. However, after a couple of episodes she noticed that there was some pretty bad skipping problems. We began looking at the back of the DVD that had the skipping problem and noticed smudge marks (resembles fingerprints) and some scratches. We then began looking at other DVDs and they all have this problem - some much worse than others. So now as she is watching the series she runs into areas that they continually skip, even if we attempt to clean them. They apparently sold us Used DVDs.

Now we can not contact them as they are out of business (or at least they appear to be as their domain name has expired). If they go in business under the same name, DON'T buy from them!
