I made a purchase of $345 at TVBoxSet.com several weeks ago, I never heard back from them or got my order. I used a ShopSafe card, which is a credit card you generate for shopping online, the only place I ever put this number out was at TVBoxSet.com. I was charged the $345 for my order and over the next 6 days, I was charged 14 times for a total of $3702.94 USD.

After contacting my credit card company I did some research on this company. They open a site, get a lot of people to buy stuff and stall. Finally people realize what is happening and start to complain and they lose their ability to accept credit cards and start to get investigated so they start a new website up and repeat. They are harvesting credit card numbers and keeping whatever money made from orders they will never fill.

Look at their product selection, categories, DVD artwork, FAQ. anything. All these sites are the same. DVDCollections.tv is just the latest, it was recently registered because TVBoxSet.com was getting too many complaints. Check them out. DVDCollections.tv, TVBoxSet.com, TVAddicts.tv, RareDVDs.tv, DVDAvenue.tv. they are all the same.

""Let us get the facts straight, in order to get a merchant account, you need to provide the bank with documents of the company, activity, if you get 1 2 chargebacks YOU MUST give in documents that prove the merchandise was actually shipped, and the customer did chargeback because he did not want the merchandise re-sent""

And when the customer complaints start piling up, along with charge backs from credit card companies, and complaints to government authorities, it's time to shut down, and start again with a different website(s), different hostings, and different billing companies! The difficulty these fools have is they don't bother to change their text content. And that content is supposedly copyrighted - said so on each of the websites. (when they were up.) Tsk Tsk.

But wait, they're selling copyrighted material, so what's a copyright or two from a website amongst friends, eh?

Should I post the Czech Connection info I have? Hmmmm.

I guess the pc3support.com billing arrangement didn't work out!

LOL!

""THIRD: We are a new company that have just opened it's door. We are an International Company with offices in Humble, Texas, USA and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.""

Yet, according to the BBB in Texas, TV DVD Media in Humbolt appears to be out of business - disconnected phone number, returned mail - that sorta stuff.

LMAO Say hello to the Jacob twins for me! LOL

this is a joke

everything you have written here is a joke. The ones you ripped off are tvboxset, IN CASE you actually bought the products. You have been doing associations with companies totally UNRELATED, and let me give you some simple examples:

tvaddicts.tv (212.26.145.97) - hosted in Ukraine datacenter -
DVDAvenue.tv (212.26.145.98) - same datacented (same owner) -
TVBoxSet.com (72.52.7.20) - hosted by prolexic technologies (here we start to see differences - absolutely no link with the 2 above)
DVDCollections.tv (64.32.11.199) - hosted at sharktech technologies (absolutely no link with the 3 mentioned above)

The only thing i could notice is that you create the reports, so that they would be very nice indexed in google, so when people search for the mentioned websites, they come up as rippers.

Who would do that ? well for once a competitor who needs the competition taken down. So that he could make more money. An angry customer who doesn't imagine the damage it does, by associating every name he sees with fraud, there are many options, BUT, the real single fact that stands, is that we should NOT judge things by 1 complaint and generalize. I mean ... did ANYONE even wonder HOW COME THEY ARE STILL PROCESSING CARDS AND HAVING GOOGLE ADVERTISING ? if yhey were crooks, do you think ANY sane bank would process credit cards for more than 24 hours ?

Let us get the facts straight, in order to get a merchant account, you need to provide the bank with documents of the company, activity, if you get 1 2 chargebacks YOU MUST give in documents that prove the merchandise was actually shipped, and the customer did chargeback because he did not want the merchandise re-sent.

Google does phone verification in case you did not knew, and you DO have to prove you are real, before they get your ads up.

I speak on facts, you speak on assumptions, i honestly do NOT trust this report, because i think before making assumptions and associations.

Also another big question mark goes for the site editors. I am checking all the reports that came in here, and they ALL carry the same pattern, complaints with no proof, and terrible associations. For people who do have a bit of intelligence that puts a BIG question mark on the reports legitimacy, i mean, if a company doesn't check for abuse reports, anyone come in here to bash, because nobody cares, and there goes your online reputation.

#9Author of original report

You want me to provide you more information about myself? Get real. You are criminals, you may have fooled me once but I'm not even going to give you the chance to go further and steal my identity or attempt to physically harm me.

I will gladly accept your challenge and give you a chance to clear your name (if that can even be done). All I ask is that you publicly post the actual location of the owner of this company. I am also requesting a face to face sit down with the owner at the place where this operation is run, with the local authorities present. And I want to see the so called factory that is shipping these pirated DVDs out. If you somehow manage to prove you are A.) running a legal business and B.) not ripping people off, I will gladly remove this complaint.

RESPONSE FROM DVDCOLLECTIONS.TV MANAGEMENT

#9REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, August 27, 2007

Hello all past, current and future customers.

We have just been made aware of this report and would like to clear up the issues regarding DVDCollections.tv

Before we even speak of our company, we would challenge the author of this report to please contact us directly so that we can remove DVDCollections.tv from this report and restore our good name.

We attempted to contact the Author of this report directly however it appears there is no contact information for this person.

Mr Greg, you have obviously jumped to the conclusion that we are connected with TVBOXSET.com and these other websites, however this is simple UNTRUE.

We realize you have had some issues with another website and are obviously upset about this, however you cannot simply link every other website in this Category to them. This is not fair to our business, customers and reputation and we hope you contact us and we can resolve the issue.

Now, regarding our business/company:

FIRST: We are in NO WAY affiliated with www.TVBOXSET.com, www.TVADDICTS.tv or ANY of the other sites listed in this report.

Yes, we agree there are similarities in the websites and we are both have offices in Canada, however that is where the connection ends.

SECOND: We officially launched our Website on August 3rd and the statement that "we opened our doors because TVBOXSET.com was getting too many complaints" is simply ridiculous.

THIRD: We are a new company that have just opened it's door. We are an International Company with offices in Humble, Texas, USA and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

You are more than welcome to contact our support office at support@dvdcollections.tv

We respond to customers 24/7 and customers will usually receive a response within 6-12 hours.

We thank all our customers for your business and patronage and we assure you the buying experience with DVDCollections.tv will be a solid and happy one.

We thank all readers for their time.

I only want to comment on TVAddicts.tv reported by Alan71 as the same company as DVDCollections.tv, TVBoxSet.com, RareDVDs.tv, DVDAvenue.tv.

On March 8, 2007, I purchased Hawaii Five-0 (the Complete Television Series On DVD) from TVAddicts.tv. The purchase price of the DVDs was USD$ 149.99 paid with my Visa Card. The DVDs were delivered to me in good condition on 23rd March 2007. It is true that the DVDs were shipped from Brossard, Quebec, Canada, but I have no proof that TVAddicts.tv is the same company as those mentioned by Alan71. Please note that TVAddicts.tv has a telephone number
(1-877-7-TV-SHOW) for customers to reach, while the other companies don't.

I'm very satisfied with TVAddicts.tv for their service.
