TVBoxSet Thieves - Stole Money Ontario Canada
You order a DVD set. They calim to sell hard to find shows. You give them your info. They send a confirmation.
Days later, they say order is processed and credit card was charged. A few days later, you get email saying their "merchant account" has frozen their funds and you will not get order or refund. They tell you to get a refund from your bank. This a ploy to get you off their backs, but they keep the money.
They will not refund, as they say they cannot get to the "frozen" funds, yet they stay in business. How is that?

UPDATE TVBOXSET
#4Author of original report
Tue, August 14, 2007
I originally filed a report because the person I was dealing with at TV BOX SET was not handling the problem.
A week or so ago, a second gentleman from the company contacted me and asked for the details of the problem I was having. After I told him what was going on, he was able to resolve the matter professionally, quickly, and to my complete satisfaction. I only wish that I had been dealing with this gentleman from the start, as he is a credit to the company.
Thank you again for your help.

Go through your credit card company and dispute the charge...
#4Consumer Suggestion

Hi...go through your credit card company and dispute the charge. Tell them that you had ordered this merchandise using their card and you have neither received the product nor received a refund.
The credit card company will issue a credit for the amount of the purchase while the disputed charge is being resolved. Let the big powerful credit card company put the pressure on this company - they have a lot more clout than you do.
