Complaint Review: TVDVDPLANET.COM - Direct Media

I have been wanting the television series "Emergency" for a long time and was going to origionally order it from Amazon.com which is a trusted site. However, as I was searching prices online I came across this site, tvdvdplanet, which offered all five seasons for one price.

I thought it was too good to be true but being that the company is in Canada I thought maybe the series had been released in whole there because only the first three seasons were out here in the US. I guess I was pretty stupid in thinking that; but I would never rip off someone so I just don't think about someone doing the same to me.

Well, first of all it took them five days to 'process' my order and then another six to get it ready to ship. Then they gave me a tracking number that didn't do any good because it kept telling me that it was in Quebec at the post office and that is all it ever said. I finally received the DVD's over a month after ordering them.

The package that they came in was a flimsy padded paper mailer that was 'very' chewed up with holes in it. The DVD cases were also damaged pretty bad.

Thankfully the DVD's were intact so I popped one in my player and watched it. THEY RECORDED IT OFF OF THE TELEVISION!!!!!!! They even left in parts of commercials!! There is no episode guide on the dvd's or on the packaging the show from one dvd runs into the next(thank goodness they at least put numbers on the dvd's)

The episodes aren't even in order. I finally realized that they are a bootleg company. I should have known but I didn't. I feel very stupid and am out 200.00$.

So far I have emailed them 5 times and tried to use their online chat thing about ten times. I have tried to call them also and so far I have received no reply. If you are smarter than me do not give these people your money. You will regret it.
