Tvetens Auto Clinic Ray Gregory, Scott E. and Rachel A. Tveten, Sorry I cannot duplicate your complaint. Ooops... Now the car is dead -- Tow it home. Internet
I drove my vehicle this shop Wednesday July 14th after 5 p.m. I have been out and about using that car for months prior. The manager Ray Gregory called me Thursday July 15th 8:45 am to tell me they cannot duplicate the fault with the starter. He said he started the car 4x and it started just fine. I insisted that when the car was hot it sounded like it did not start as quickly as when cold, and I was concerned the starter which they sold me months earlier might have been failing.
Then two days later they push my car into shopping mall parking, and now the only thing that works is every warning light, because I did not agree to endless and miscellaneous repairs, starting with an Oil Leak diagnoses, new struts, tire rotation, power steering service, as recommended on their invoice.
Not only does it now not start at all but the solenoid does not click over and even the fuel cap warning light is on the dash. In the last 18 years I have owned 5 or 6 separate Ford Taurus models since 1992, I have never seen the check engine light or the Fuel Cap Warning Light come on.
Please do not get trapped or put in this position. There is nothing more demoralizing than having your car disabled at their shop and now you have no option to determine what is actually needed, nor do you have have the opportunity to shop for that service.
Please avoid that happening to you. I affirm the above statement is true and correct.
Sincerely, Richard
