i sign a year contract with first choice and once it was up they dropped me and sent me back to txu i got a bill from txu and it was $1,112 dollar i could not believe it so i call first choice up and ask them if i was still with them they said no that i have been dropped and i ask them why and they said because i was late 30 days last month which i know that is not right because this company you get the bill and it is due on the fifth and if its not in there then they are sending you a disconnection notice if i was 30 days late my lights would be shut off.

so i call txu up and ask if i could make arrangment and guess what they said no i got the bill in and one week later i have to pay it can you believe that the reason why it was so high because i left oweing a $646 with txu because first choice took so long to swicth over. and deposit of $375.00 and a new bill for $90.00 for 9 days.

when i ask for more time to pay my bill and the women so no that she could not give me more time then i told her i was going to go out buy some candles she didn't even care she gave me this number in town so i could call and ask for help which they were out of funds go figure that one.

so beware of first choice power because they will drop you and never no notice they said that they did not have to give you a notice when they are going to drop you so those of you who switch electric company and left oweing a bill for txu i would start paying because that is where you will end up at txu if they drop you. thank god for income tax or i would be living around candles for a long time. it just makes me sick to pay that king of money for a electric bill.

They have to give you time.

If not, call PUC and they will investigate and make TXU give a VALID reason as to why. This will take up to 90 days that you will not have to pay. I know this because we have done it over a 1,200 dollor bill. The Public Utilities Commission is on your side.
