10/14/2007 at 21:18 EDT: The 50 myspace accounts --
1/ need to be made MANUALLY( no bots)
2/ ip address changig every 5 minutes
3/ you upload photo background, informations
4/ you uplaod a large staitic image with html only if you done it before

That is part of one of the posts I found while checking up on this guy -- who, by the way CAN'T EVEN SPELL!! He does have a convincing "sales pitch" voice that will get him over on mostly the young or very old.

He was looking for 100 people to go find 50 "friends" to add to their my space accounts for a target of 5,000. You can see his posts at www.getafreelancer.com listed under WorldPay88 this time.

He knows how to market to certain audiences and goes for high numbers to get the returns -- and targets myspace, craigslist and other such social networking outlets ripe with the young and broke.

I saw his post in www.getafreelancer.com and tracked him to the marketing sites he has his freelancers directing traffic to using links and banners he provides for them.

Someone should let www.getafreelancer.com know about this guy -- that site provides a decent service. This guy probably had those 3 perfect 10 reviews done by his friends or paid them to write glowing reviews...can't prove it but I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm glad I didn't fall for this scam. The clincher was reading the Santa Clara post right here -- THAT SETTLED WHAT I SUSPECTED! Thanks for the reassurance - that always helps make right decisions. We've all been victims -- a sucker born every day so everyone must take a turn sooner or later for that to be true!

Hello Priscilla,

I went through with the process and spent $50 to "see if I qualify" and I have no idea how to get that $50 back so i wrote it off to the 'learning curve'. What I learned was that Ty Couglin's Reverse Funnel System is actually promoting membership in Global Resorts Network. I dug further into Global Resorts Network (GRN) and found out that it is in actual fact a legitimate business, with little or no bad press associated with it, that offers members hugely discounted vacations at over 5000 resorts worldwide. GRN provides on-line representation for a 20-year old club. The results of my research can be found at www.UnderstandingGRN.com.

TO HIS CREDIT:
The Reverse Funnel System is a compelling piece of marketing - you have to give him that! The System behind it is actually a highly developed web-based sales and marketing application that does indeed automate much of the process of having an on-line business to a large degree. They provide audio training and a lot more.

TO HIS DETRIMENT:
He makes it look like there is NO WORK involved in the business he is marketing, and that simply isn't true. Every business takes work - even buying a lottery ticket requires a trip to the store... He also suggests that anyone can do this business and that is also not quite fair. You need to know about internet marketing, ad placement, banner placement, search engine optimization, keywords, blogging and a lot more if you're going to have a chance. If you think you can throw $5000 a month at this, do nothing else, and get $20,000 back you're in for a nasty surprise.

That all being said, I am now a member of Global Resorts Network and I'm looking forward to some fun family vacations for only $298 a week - which is a meaningful discount in MY family. I tried the Reverse Funnel System and it didn't work for me, BUT, they were good about pro-rating the refund to my monthly subscription.

I hope this helps clarify a little.

All the best,

David
