I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY NO STARS BASED ON THEIR LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOLLOW UP CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND MANAGEMENT. I HAVE PURCHASED NUMEROUS TOYOTAS IN THE PAST, AS HAVE MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE. BUT, THIS COMPANY SOLD ME DEFECTIVE TOUCH UP PAINT AND WHEN I WENT TO THEM FOR HELP I GOT PUT OFF FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER AND WAS TREATED QUITE RUDELY. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS OR TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM. THEIR SOLUTION, ALTHOUGH THEY COULD SEE THIS WAS THE COMPANIES RESPONSIBILITY, WAS TO BLAME EVERYONE BUT THEMSELVES, FIND EVERY EXCUSE (INCLUDING THE ONE YEAR EXPIRATION ON THE PAINT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS USED WITHIN A MONTH OF PURCHASING THE VEHICLE) TO AVOID FIXING MY CAR AND THEREFORE SOLVING THE ISSUE.. THEY DID OFFER ONCE FOR ME TO PAY THE TOTAL COST OF THEM REPAINTING THE FRONT END OF MY CAR AND QUOTED ME AROUND $900 TO DO SO. THAT AGAIN IS NO MORE THAN THEM TRYING TO PUT MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKET AND AVOID PAYING ANYTHING OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. MAYBE THEY DID NOT LEARN THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOUT SATISFYING THE CUSTOMER NOT TRYING TO GET MORE FOR THEMSELVES. BECAUSE I HAVE TWO BUSINESS DEGREES AND MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT MY FAMILY OWNED A BUSINESS FOR 15+ YEARS, I AM APPALLED AT THAT LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THIS COMPANY, ITS OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES. I AM EVEN MORE APPALLED THAT TOYOTA HAS BECOME SO ARROGANT THAT THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THEY NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER AFTER THE SALE. THIS IS A SHAME, IT IS NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MANY COMPANIES LOSING BUSINESS AND MONEY NOWDAYS. THIS SITUATION TURNED ME OFF TO TOYOTA COMPLETELY. I WILL BE BUYING HONDAS IN THE FUTURE.
