Tyson Motor Corp. deceptive on retail installment contract Shorewood, Illinois
I traded in my 2010 patriot due to tyson having a shortage of used vehicles on its lot.
I went in and picked out a new 2012 patriot that is more of a base vehicle than the 2010 vehicle I traded in. I made the deal and signed the contract, then the next day I got a call from the finance manager that I needed to come up with an extra 300 dollars and also needed to redo the retail installment contract.
I was pretty furious at that point so I went down to the dealership. They knew I was not happy so they said they would 'make things right' Oh they made things right 'for them' my APR was jacked up to 5.4% from 4.4%, they also said they would throw in a 'remote start and wheel locks' free of charge.
Well it wasn't free of charge at all, the total cost of the vehicle on the first contract was 31k After they redid the 2nd contract my final payment was 32k.. Nice going there Tyson! Nice way to exhaust your customers into coming in twice to redo a contract to your favor to get more money out of shocked customers..
For all of the customers looking for a new vehicle.. Run from this place!! Next is the chrysler jeep corp office and the attorney general of Illinois..
