UA tutors said they could proof read a dissertation and give feedback prior to it being handed in.  They said it would be a subject specific lecturer and would cost 200 plus 30 introduction fee.  This was agreed over the phone and paid by debit card.  They did not provide a subject specific lecturer, they removed 1500 from bank account.  We discovered later that the person we dealt with, Patrick Kelly, was infact a company director.  they now have a new company director, a Ms Malloy.  They have admitted liability and keep promising to refund the money. However, 5 months, several phone calls and letters, police and trading standards involvement later we have fialed to secure a refund of the money and the bank are now enforcing charges as the account is overdrawn.  UA tutors were invovled with a company called Godiva at the time of this happening and since severing involvement with them have accepted liability, but have still not refunded the money. I would advise any body who requires a tutoring service to avoid using them at all costs.  If any body else has had problem with them I would also like to know if  they are interested in starting a class action against them.  They are a disgrace to the teaching profession.
