I am not prejudiced but I was greeted by two young black individuals one of whom had gotten out of prison and was trying to get his life back together. He was trying to help the young girl learn the process of going door to door. I rarely give these people an entrance to talk but I did and felt compassion for them. So I bought several books for my grandchildren I expected to come by Christmas of last year. My check was dated November 10, 2011. I just discovered it as I had forgotten now about it. I knew right away I had been taken. they likely took the checks and used them for drugs. I may go to my bank and see how it was cashed. I am angry but hope justice will be served. If I knew what my recourse was, I would do it. I am starting by filing this report.
