U-Haul Storage / MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEEU-HAUL Ripoffs in storage units being done by removing door hinges. Murfreesboro Tennessee
I am being ripped off and U-Haul storage is denying it and will not cooperate with me in stopping it. I have filed a report with the local police (what a joke) and have evidence and they just blew me off. No wonder U-Haul gets away with it. I called the owner (I think they are franchises) to talk with her and she promised me they would look into it and I pointed out to her the security system they had was (cameras placed in places not covering storage areas) in need of more surveillance and she sent the maintenance guy out for me to point out my concerns. He was going to order more cameras but they didn't. I pointed out where people had been breaking in and he was suppose to secure these spots He didn't. There is so much mor to this story but it depresses me to write about it. I have had stuff stolen that was in my family for over 100 years. I can't afford an attorney. Someone please help me!!!

A simple solution

Assuming that you wisely took out insurance on your worldly possessions and antique family hierlooms before leaving them in a storage facility that is open to the public, the solution is simple -- file a claim and get reimbursed for your loss(es). That is what insurance is for and why places like U-Haul offer it. After all, no one can control each and every individual that comes and goes, nor can one put a camera on each and every storage unit.
