One evening in mid September, I recieved a phone call from a cheerfull man. He was congratulating me for having won all sorts of stuff, but what I heard loudest was a new PC system, as I really needed a new one.

The catch was that there were costs to be covered and my end was $299.99. When I informed them that I wouldn't have that amount of cash for a few weeks, they said, "No Problem, I could give them my checking account number and the date that the money would be in the account.", which I did.

When a month had gone by, and I still hadn't seen the computer, I went to my Credit Union and got the phone number for US Benefits. A woman at U.S. Benefits told me that there was a 6 week wait involved. I called back after that amount of time, as I hadn't received anything, and she asked if I had received my package from U.S. Benefits. I said "No", and she said she would send another package. That package arrived today, December 16th. The new computer is conditional.

I would have to sign up for AOL at an additional $24.95 per month. When I ran a search for YourBenefitz.com, as instructed in the packet, I came across this web site as well as others, which made me realize I had been scammed.

There would be no free computer or free anything, for that matter. And I was out $299.99.
