Let me guess. You had to switch to a prepay account because you didn't pay your account. Thats the only reason why people go to prepay after having an account with a bill. Why don't you try this. Own up to what happened and move on with your miserable stupid life and stop trying to get free stuff out.of businesses. It's people like you that make working in retail a miserable experience for retail employees and having to explain simple concepts to people like you like I would to a.small child is a complete waste of time

Look at this link...

http://www.uscellular.com/uscellular/common/common.jsp?path=/plans/prepaid/terms-and-conditions.html

It clearly says PREPAID in the link & TERMS & CONDITIONS...not a contract.

EVERYTHING has some sort of terms and conditions linked to it, including pre-paid service.

Learn to read ALL print even the fine print. Was simply trying to show you that US Cellular has made sure to cover themselves by including things such as no refunds in their Terms & Conditions of PREPAID.

I mean give your attorney the above link and have him/her read through it, maybe they'll find a loop hope, who knows...but again it clears states for a PREPAID phone, no refunds.

Why don't read the Terms & Conditions of US Cellular's pre-pay service. #8 in their T&C state the following:

Termination. You may terminate service at any time by notifying U.S. Cellular. A request to port your number will be a request by you to terminate service. U.S. Cellular may terminate or suspend your service if you fail to perform any obligations of the terms and conditions governing Prepaid Wireless service. Unused balances will not be refunded if service is terminated pursuant to this paragraph.

The above can also be found at the following link:

http://www.uscellular.com/uscellular/common/common.jsp?path=/plans/prepaid/terms-and-conditions.html

It clearly states no refunds.

**Also #7 in their T&C basically states the following is the only way your getting a refund when it comes to their pre-pay service.

Disconnection. If your account has a $0 or negative balance for 120 days or more, the account will be disconnected. Any applicable monthly charges will apply until your account is disconnected or otherwise terminated. You will be subject to reactivation charges if service is reconnected, and it may be necessary for U.S. Cellular to reassign you a new phone number.

It is always good to read before signing up for anything even if its a pre-pay service. Good luck w/trying to take them to court especially since they do spell it out in their T&C.
