We relied on this company to correctly diagnose a defective A/C unit so our home warranty company (with their own Rip-Off Report for American Home Shield) could replace or repair the condenser unit outside our home. They sent an unlicensed technician to do the job. He mistakenly deduced that there was a puncture in the coil and reported this to American Home Shield. Due to this inaccurate diagnosis, American Home Shield declined the repair and we had to replace the unit ourselves.

We had three other A/C companies make the determination that the coil had ruptured due to fatigue and that the coil was actually covered under the manufacturer warranty. Due to the rusted and corroded condition of the cabinet, a replacement of the coil would not be possible. Rust and corrosion are covered repairs as well as ruptured coils but since the unlicensed technician diagnosed the condition improperly the decision to not replace the condenser stood.

In Florida a licensed contractor must be present to oversee all work done by unlicensed technicians. Use this company at your own risk.
