If you have this company as a long distance provider, be aware, they will continue to charge you monthly on your phone bill even if you make a change to a different provider. In our case, we got long distance service with Verizon in 2005 when we changed to a new plan. Verizon assumed no responsibility in discontinuing the long distance service with US Telecom. Even though US Telecom has not been our LD provider, we have been paying their monthly charge up until we realized they were still on the phone bill. They were completely unwilling to give credit for all the months charged where we were paying fees where no service was provided. They want their money regardless. Make sure you call them and cancel. 1-888-299-6618. If you find charges paid to a long distance carrier on your phone bill, be sure to check with your phone company to make sure you do not have overlaping long distance service. Companies like this enjoy getting money from unaware consumers and you can be one just like us.
