Complaint Review: Uber Movers

Moving from Illinois to Texas we were given a quote based on inventory of $2650.  Explained to them in detail of every single Item that had to be included however left 20 extra small boxes and figured we will pay alittle extra.  Moving a 4 bedroom home the driver arrives with a 12 foot truck stating that according to the weight and cubic feet he will charge us $4850 plus extra for the 20 small boxes.  As we explained to him the contract he makes excuses that everything we have is extra large.  "Define extra Large".  We have the same average size furniture and beds as any average American has in their home.  "Then goes on to say to far of a distance to travel".  Everything is written clearly on the contract however he found every excuse to not service our need.  What I am angry about when I called back to get my deposit I was told we don't give back deposits.  Stopped answering my phone calls and emails as well.  So $420 of my hard earned money I will not get back because that is how they play their game.  Can't take them to small claims court because it is below of what they can be held liable for or hire an attorney will cost me even more.  So take my advise from my bad experience.  This company will "RIP YOU OFF" they don't even have a website or any contact information so dont even take that chance.  Many legit companies are out there give them a shot.
