Complaint Review: Ubisoft & Blue Byte

Warning www.thesettlersonline.net How they hook you in and scam you out of money,

I had been playing thesettlersonline for about 12 months now 1st problems started after I made my first purchases of in game money called gems, after a day or two there was suddenly problems with the game server and they had to do a roll back, ok i thought must be something big for them to have to do a roll back and I thought nothing more of it at the time, after the roll back I found I had lost all my gems I had bough for total or $99.99 and all they would give me compensation was about $2 worth of in game gems.

There reasons weer they had no record of my purchases even if I offered credit card statement showing the payment to them they said this proves nothing.. well as I had been playing the game for some time all ready and had many friends on the game, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt,

and continued to play a few months past everything looked to be running nice on the game and I decided to give it a go with in game money again and made a Purchases for $99 again..... yes I can here you all saying why but as I said the game had been working fine for the last few month with out any trouble..

SO I got my credit card out again, and would you believe it a few days after I made purchases they game went down again and they had to do a roll back and yes all my gems were gone again.. Well I do not believe anything they say now they are refusing to refund the money to my credit card  and I have to contact my credit card company in the morning to see what they can do about this...

any way I wanted to post this to warn other people so they do not get scammed as I did..... Thanks
