Complaint Review: uBuiltit

March 3 of 2015 I recommended uBuiltit to my daughter to build a home in the front acree of my property in Hockley. We visited the offices of the uBuildit in the Woodlands area on 45 near Sam Houston's toll. We sat down with his sales man and they asked for a 3500 deposit saying that we had nothing to lose because if it didn't not get loan approval they would return the deposit and no harm.

We went through the process they setup but a month after they closed their offices. We were approved with our credit but the bank they set us up at the end did not approve the loan because we did not have a builder. Which is the main purpose of uBuilt it. Since then are have being trying to get our deposit back and have being given the run around all this time.

Finally this year on 1/18/17 at 9am I got a hold of Michael Maldonado over the phone. He said that they did their part, which they didn't and that the deposit was a retainer, not a deposit. I called him on that lie and he said to look on the contract on page 5. I told him that in NO where in that page it said that the deposit was none refundable.

The scammer told me he was going to go over over the contract and call me the following day at 9am.

He did not call and since then has blocked my business and cell number that now goes straight to a voice mail that hasn't being set up. I imagine now he will fall of the grid once more and continue to keep our hard earned money.

Michael Maldonado is a SCAMMER and I will try to take him to court of expose him using any media I can, that is Emily Adkin or any other press.

This kind of scammers need to be held accountable and I will not rest until I stop this A hole from burning more people and continue trying to recover our 3500.00
