This is what I have:  People are going on free classified add sites like Craigslist, EBay and Oodles to name a few.  When they get on these sites they click on the item they want to buy and they are getting a pop up that tells them to put name and email.  Then they wait for a response.  Then they get an email with a person named John Wagner (johnman313@gmail.com)  or Arron Borunda (spapusa324@yahoo.com) .  They exchange some emails (they did not provide any phone number to call direct) to inquire and confirm the condition of the item and the terms of the sale.

Their claim is the items condition was as stated on the advertisement.  People are advised they would have opportunity to inspect the item upon delivery and have up to 10 days to accept or reject the item. Upon acceptance, the final payment would be due, upon rejection; down payment would be immediately returned.

You are advised to go to uBuyStoreHouse.com and registered and the sale person you are dealing with will give you a stock number.  I went on to the site and everything looked legit.  I looked at online resources and could find nothing derogatory about this company.  In fact, I found what appeared to be favorable comments.

People being comfortable that uBuy was a legitimate operation, they decided to make the purchase and accept the terms.

uBuy immediately sent them an invoice for the 50% down payment which had specific instructions to make the payment via Money Gram.  It was to go to Brett Durkin or Mathew Herrin, these are uBuy StoreHouse agents in Dallas, TX.  NOTE: In retrospect they should have backed out on the deal but all other indications leaned toward uBuy being a legitimate vendor.

Per uBuy's instructions, when they made the Money Gram payment, they were to fax or scan the receipts and their completed payment form.  When they got the fax or the scan they in turn emailed them confirming their receipt and advised that delivery arrangements were being made and to expect delivery in three days or so. People were given an invoice and transaction number.

A day or so later they received an email from uBuy stating that their "Board of Directors" decided they wanted full payment from all customers before shipping. Their claim was they had too many collection problems. People refused to pay the full amount until they could inspect the items they put half down for.

uBuy insisted full payment had to be made before shipping and offered no other solution.  They would not acknowledge their offer so they decided to cancel the order because of their unreasonable "mid-stream" change in terms and the unwillingness to accept alternate solutions.

uBuy acknowledged the cancellation & confirmed to them that they would receive a full refund within 10 days. They have not heard from them since and they continue to avoid / refuse any correspondence.

This is just a brief letter to fill you in on what happened.  People also received emails from Paul Clark.  When I did some back ground on this company he is labeled as the CEO.
