Complaint Review: UCB Collections

UCB Collections Cornelius Blamb, Has never sent out the letter of satisfaction due to numerous requests. Tony Curry Supervisor Laughed at me over the phone. I asked again on 1/9/12 to have the letter faxed since all the copies they " Ft Lauderdale, Florida

We were contacted by UCB in September of 2011.  Were told we had been sent to collections for an unpaid bill in the amount of $4000 thru Citi Bank.  We never received any bills, asked for proof.  Were working with Cornelius Blamb who was very helpful until now.  He's never available or at his desk.  We found out it was a mistake on our part, a balance transfer to citi cards, paid it off and were told a letter of satisfaction would be mailed out.  Nothing, we paid it off in November, I called several times a week.  Always talked to Mr. Blamb.  It's coming, Its held up its whatever.  I was patient.  Too patient. 

December comes, almost xmas, Cornelius said it will be there by the end of the year.  Nothing.  Called January 3rd, Cornelius isn't available but his supervisor Tony Curry was.  Oh you have to request the letter...what???  Whatever we want the letter.  Ok it will be typed out and mailed tomorrow.  Today is January 9th, we've not received it.  Cornelius Blamb is never at his desk, I spoke with Tony Curry this morning and he laughed at me that I was concerned that we took care of this and this one incident has ruined our credit.  I need this letter to contact the credit bureaus and get it straightened out.  Would he please fax me the letter to my work today.  Yes he would have the department fax it.  Ok...nothing yet.
