UCS Auto Inc World Wide Consulting Guaranteed Job Offer Selling Cars if you pay a $500 Training Fee (Cash or Money Order Only) Rock Hill, South Carolina

Pete Farrigan of UCS Auto has been scamming good honest people out of $500 for years with the promise of an opportunity selling automobiles at a high end dealership.  He preys on the unemployed (individuals that are down on their luck and having a weak and desperate moment) in hopes that he will collect their $500 and then hit the road before anyone realizes they have been scammed.  This is why he makes it difficult to track him down with no physical address.

This time he aligned himself with a high end-well known dealership in Chicago-land,
Bill Jacobs BMW, Land Rover, VW and Mini.

The process starts with a cattle call after an attractive classified add in the Chicago Tribune says they have 15 openings.  Upon the initial interview it appears that Pete is an employee of the dealership ( Bill Jacobs) as they are the ones collecting the applications.  You are sitting in their state of the art dealership with a glass conference room overlooking the BMW showroom floor. Upon making the cut you are asked to return for a 3 day training program that is being held in the same beautiful conference room (at Bill Jacobs).

During a challenging and entertaining sales training program you are continually reminded that you too can prosper in high end automobile sales.  He does this by telling compelling stories that paint a picture of your future success working for Bill Jacobs high end dealerships.
During the program it is never revealed to you that Pete is a hired gun (consultant) that is making his money from you the prospect.  He only represents himself as a consultant on the last day (prior to the real interviews) when asking for the "$500 Fee" to proceed, thus guaranteeing that you will receive a job offer.  He will only accept cash or a money order, no personal checks.
He also says that their is no risk because the dealership (in this case Bill Jacobs) will refund your money with interest after 90 days ($629 to be exact).

This is where it gets interesting.  Everyone should have questioned the trainers/dealerships ethics at this point.  I am embarrassed to say that I (a college educated person with 30 years of business experience) fell for the scam.  Mainly because I am a trusting person that usually gives people the benefit of the doubt, but more importantly because Bill Jacobs name was behind it.
Never questioning the separation between hired consultant and the well known dealer I handed over the money.

I for one will now never trust an automobile dealership (the least trusted industry in the world) for good reasons.  I will also make it my personal mission to communicate this story to the masses so that others will not be taken advantage of in the future.

I dispute the rebuttal of Tyler Smith at UCS Auto because it is completely inaccurate, other than to say that they did ultimately refund my money after chasing after them.

I would like to forgive them for the way they have done business in the past and encourage them to run a more reputable business in the future.  I am sure if they tried they could offer a valuable business proposition without being deceptive.

Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

UCS AUTO IS A SCAM PURE & SIMPLE

What Tyler from UCS AUTO claims about Mr. Green and his account of what happened at Bill Jacobs BMW is a gross distortion of what actually happened. UCS Auto is a scam operation pure & simple.

Mr. Green was not lying, he simply was brave enough to expose UCS for what they are: SCAMMERS, HUCKSTERS, CON MEN out to make a buck at the expense of their unemployed and desperate prey. There are laws on the books in IL where this crime was committed that could spell jail time for Tyler, Pete and the rest of the gang at UCS Auto. Probably explains the vehement albeit highly inaccurate response from Tyler to Mr. Green's dead on description of what happened to him.

Not to mention the fallout that Bill Jacobs dealerships will feel after having been exposed as actually having done business with this hole in the wall gang.

Do not let Tyler and the SCUMBAGS at UCS Auto fool you. Mr. Green was bamboozled, he has been gamefully employed over the last 2 years, and he was bright and brave enough to call these PONDSCUM on the carpet for their unscrupulous and downright illegal hiring CON.

Oh and BTW, I am writing in defense of Mr. Green because I have known him to be a reputable and honorable professional for 8 years. I am sure there are plenty other people who know him who will share the same opinion here and elsewhere. If Mr. Green felt compelled to call these knuckleheads out, then you can bet they did do some serious things wrong!

Mr. Denton Green is flat out LYING about Bill Jacobs BMW, UCS Auto and the trainer. Mr. Green came into Bill Jacobs BMW looking for a sales job. He had been out of work for over 2 years and could not get a job. At Bill Jacobs he was not only trained in a new CAREER but he was also given some consultation on interview skills and appearance. Upon being offered a sales position (which included a generous guaranteed salary, plus commission, health, dental & vision insurances, &   401 k Plan), he DECLINED the position (keep in mind, this man has been out of work for 2+ years with zero prospects!).

In  regards to the trainer, at NO time did he misrepresent himself or the dealership in ANY WAY. The trainer in fact stayed at the dealership throughout the training and hiring process. There were seven other people who were trained, all of whom were hired, and are still working and are very happy at the Bill Jacobs organization. When Mr. Green declined the position, and then later requested his investment back, he was in-fact 100% reimbursed immediately for his training materials.

It is ironic that Denton Green has written such a libelous commentary when in fact he had also written such a positive, complimentary testimonial at the end of his training. He stated how great the trainer was and that he had learned more about sales in the 3 days at the dealership than he had learned in all his 30 years of business. Saying, and I quote, "Thank you for the exceptional training...", "thank you for making it enjoyable, credible and educational...","You did a fantastic job in training and showed our value and why we will be better salespeople than our competitors". "You'll be one of the great ones in my life that had a positive impact". Now, either Denton Green was lying when he wrote this or he is lying in his commentary put on this website.

It sounds like Denton Green has "refund-remorse" and probably wishes he had done the smart thing and accepted the sales career at the dealership.
