Complaint Review: Udevelopme

I would hope that most people have already heard or read or seen the recent report on New Faces Development Center of Long Island. This group were in essence scamming families with promises that their kids were getting top level modeling positions.  

From Daily News:

"A modeling agency preyed on scores of children by falsely promising to make them stars, but instead dashed their dreams and left their parents broke, officials said Wednesday.

The agency, New Faces Development Center, "built a lucrative business by crushing the dreams of hopeful children and conning parents out of their hard-earned money," said Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice.

Hundreds of families were led to believe that their child was the next big thing, only to learn they were next in line to get scammed."

"In all, they swindled over $250,000 from over 50 clients, court papers say — and officials are still investigating another 300 complaints."

IT DOESN'T STOP THERE!

These same scammers are still operating under a completely different title, Udevelopme located in Deer Park.  New name, new location, but the same old games.  They could potentially be causing even more harm to countless unsuspecting families.
