I stopped by one day to ask for prices and additional information and they wouldn't disclose any of it unless I signed up for a free class, which I found odd (I just wanted to make sure I was gonna be able to afford the place) but I moved forward and signed up for the free trial and genuinely fell in love. They broke down the price for me (FYI 1 year contract membership is $89 + tax) and even though I found it relatively overpriced I really wanted to give it a shot so I signed up.

The overall quality of the classes is good-ish as I mentioned before but the inconsistency and never-ending changing schedule is rather unsettling, specially if you are trying to follow an ACTUAL routine/schedule.

I recently decided to compete in an Ironman race and the training is beyond strenuous and demanding, for this reason I decided to cancel my membership at this gym and that's when I found myself in a despicable rabbit hole.

For those who would like to give this place a try, keep in mind the following (please take into consideration that even though I am utterly aggravated by this situation, this review is not based of anger and "frustration for not getting my way", instead it is based of trying to paint the full picture, be as transparent as possible and explain every prospective member what they are getting themselves into, if after that you choose to join, Great! Hopefully your experience is better than mine):

1. Carpets are stinky.

2. There is no bathroom in the locker room.

3. There is a clause in the contract that states, they can use your image for advertisement purposes. If you don't like your picture all over the internet. Watch out.

4. Membership is around $89 + tax

5. The type of membership you are acquiring work as a loan (without interest) which means that they breakdown an overall of $979+tax (annual fee) into 11 parts.

6. There is no cancellation fee properly backed up by the contract, most importantly per the legal writing YOU CANNOT BREAK SUCH CONTRACT.

7. At the moment of signing you will be required to pay the following
 Enrollment fee $49 + tax
 Processing fee: $49 +tax
Last month fee: $89 + tax

8. As explain in #3, "there is not" cancellation policy; However, if you decide to do an early cancellation they will patronizingly offer you a "deal", which consists in paying 15% of the $979+tax + early cancellation fee $50 + "processing fees" $187 + last month fee $89. About $350 dollars

9. If you pay attention to these fees, you ALREADY paid for the last month. Nonetheless, if you break contract you CANNOT use that money (already paid fee) toward the last month of usage, even though this is not thoroughly explained in the contract (loop hole). Not to mention, the shady "$187 of processing fees.

Unfortunately, the issue here goes beyond underhanded financial fees but the feel that former L.A Boxing is taking of the weight that the UFC brand has and taking advantage of customers in such a despicable manner.

Doubtlessly, this place is craving for members (note: members = $$$) and they are doing it all wrong.

I suppose I should have seen something like this coming. This lesson cost me $350, hopefully my experience saves someone out there, a headache and some money.
