Complaint Review: Drive Time

i purchased a car from drive time in feruary 2003. i fell for the bait due to past credit problems. this company preys on good people that need a second change.

when i test drove the car it seemed to be perfectly okay, only to my surprise that a few weeks later is when the problems would arise. it started out with the headlight lens falling out while i was driving and cost $140 to replace, then a week later my window would not open and this needed to be repaired. since then i have had to have new brakes, wheel barons replaced, and a major oil leak repaired. my car still needs new tire rods and right now my heater hardly works.

if all of this wasn't bad enough i lost my job due to the fact that my car was undriveable for two weeks which caused me to have to depend on other people to take me to work with sometimes resulting in me being late or absent. i recently had to move due to not having a job and was unable to pay my rent on time.

i am a single mother with two kids and a car that has been a complete headache. so my advice to all that plans to purchase from drive time DON'T!
