UHaul I am interested in CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST UHAUL. UHaul encourages unauthorized usage of credit cards for storage, theft of funds, lack of intergrity, creates emotional harm, pain and suffering, etc. ripoff Dallas Texas

DO YOU SEE ANY SIMILARITIES IN MY UHAUL EXPERIENCE, IN WHAT YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED, AND ARE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST UHAUL AND ITS PARENT COMPANY?

My name is Ms. Sophia. My military son and I have had TWO Uhaul storage in the Dallas, Texas area since October 2001, at the base rate of $94.95 a month. We know that are local site has had 5 site managers in 5 years; and high middle management turn-over. We have been complaining about monetary fraud with the use of our credit cards but not until March 2006, did I have solid proof of the fraud.

WE have been harassed over the 5 years, if payment is 1 day late, UHaul's accounting is worst than Enron's. They lie about everything!

UHAUL DOES NOT KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATING THE LIES THAT THEY TOLD ME.

I filed complaints by fax in Las Vegas and in Arizona, as well as Dallas District Office, almost from the time SOME SITE MANAGERS started their employment, complaining about serious issues that were criminal and unauthorized and/or without permission, as well as David's extreme rudeness and arrogance.

One site manager even actually called my son's military officer supervisor to inform the supervisor that my son was 2 to 5 days in arrears - EVEN THOUGH MY SON ATTEMPTED TO EXPLAIN TO THE UHAUL SITE MANAGER THAT HIS MILITARY PAY DID NOT COORDINATE WITH THE DATES PAYMENTS WERE DUE.

My son gave the site manager a personal cell phone number and asked him not to call the military base during his work hours, but UHaul site manager would call and leave messages anyway at the command post!

A very specific UHaul site manager sent notices to my ex-husband house, even though we NEVER EVER had that address on file our address at the post office box was on file PRIOR to same site manager being employed at the Kingsley/Jupiter. I continued to ask him not to do that because I had safety concerns related to my ex-husband. When I confronted the Uhaul site manager by phone how he got my ex-husband's address, he refused to answer!

Every contact with Uhaul was stressful to both my son and myself. It got to the point where I would give cash money to friends and family, and have them call and make the payments using their credit card. Two site managers took it upon themselves to repeatedly charge without permission everybody's credit card, as well as take payments sent by mail. More and more challenges EVERY TIME we would contact UHaul during storage tenor.

I received the notice for the SUPPOSING CURRENT PAYMENT DUE from UHaul in November/December 2005, I did a follow-up call and specifically asked the site manager orally and in writing what money was due ($249.00) and I sent a postal money order for $250.00 dollars with a note at the bottom of the UHaul Notice to apply $125.00 dollars to each of the TWO storages to as ALWAYS send a receipt for payment. Which we would never get, just a line item "Amount of Last Payment".

I discovered that the site managers would hold back the payments received to create over charges and in March 2006 I learned on a Premier Club sign-up through www.uhaul.com for $10.00 dollars.

It is through (in-part) that I discovered enough evidence to substantiate my family's allegations of fraud beginning the end of 2002 2005.

I believe others national have suffered under UHaul and I believe that there are enough people WHO CAN CREATE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST UHAUL.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS INTERGRITY!

I just posted a complaint about a U-haul named storage company. I would love to get involved in *any* sort of lawsuit involving U-hell. Oops, I mean U-haul.

Count me in on any class action related to UHAUL's ignorance towards consumers when it comes to 'reservations' or confirmations and/or to their lack of proper recordkeeping. I was inconvenienced and lost money due to their negligence in proper handling of an appliance dolly. They explicitly refused to remove the charges associated with a dolly insisting the contract was too old to be removed and that they had no way to prove that I did not return the dolly over a month later and 3 states to the south. (See my report, filed under Eric from Bensalem, PA) - UHAUL is a joke of a company and should not be allowed to operate. I hope they go BANKRUPT!

as being a x-gm manager.. you are screwed. on the reciepts, it authorizes u-haul to charge for late returns, damages.etc.. i have to say. you haul owns you when they have you sign.. so sorry. good luck.

I think everybody should steer clear of U-HAUL. The poor old man (L.S. Shoen) who built the company from the ground up got screwed over by his own sons after turning the compnay over to them on his 70th birthday in an act of paternal generosity. The family is full of greed, leading to murder, and for what? For the sorry kids who run it to do all these things you are complaining about. Read about how the sons of the founder of U-HAUL murdered the old man's favorite daughter-in-law. SICK, SICK, SICK!!! I don't know anything about the other moving companies but don't contribute to the delinquency of these idiots running this crooked company.
