This CompanyPerson orders merchandise online. Forwards it through a mail forwarding company in Sarasota, Florida and then claims it as not received with his bank card.
He uses a false name to place the order then his real name to make the claim.
The mail forwarding company keeps a digital log of every tracking number that is forward to every customer, including photos of the package. The customer is sent these pictures in advance to APPROVE the forwarding mail. So, this person knowingly has the package and still files the claim which is mail fraud. Filing the claim is credit card fraud as well as theft by deception. Im sure there are other statutes pertaining to this such as using the postal servcie to commit a crime.
By no means is this a reflection of the mail forwarding service as they are a victim as well. They are very professional and highly recommended. It's a shame people like this use good companies to hide behind and facilitate crimes.
In all, I just wanted to get this information out there.
