My daughter was taking private lessons for the owner Juan Fernandez, he was busy talking to another group when she sustained her injury (broken arm). He called us, my husband and I showed up immediately, he was saying right off from the beginning how he knew he should of been working and helping my daughter and how he would take care of any expenses. We said we have insurance anything over our deductible we will send his way, he agreed. When it came time to pay for the emergency hospital visit and the physical therapy he put it off more and more claiming he rather pay it himself instead of putting it through the insurance-every time we called it was one excuse after another then he started hiding behind his employees. I think he is working a shady businees with no insurance and pocketing private lesson money. I was getting receipts for the first two lessons then the employees asked me to sign the checks personally to Juan himself instead of to the business that he was teaching my daughter gymnastics to.

If you signed a waiver of liability then he is in no way obligated to pay for your daughters injuries. Now if he said he would and didnt that just doesnt make him true to his word. He probably realized that your daughter signed one after the fact. Good luck trying to get a dime out of him. Thats why these places have waivers. to cover their butt.
