Ultimate, Ultimate Fragrance, World Perfume, David, Rachael, Rachel Perfume Selling Scam, Receptionist, Entry Level Management, Fake Perfume Sales Bridgeton Missouri
This company has been putting out ads for receptionists on Craigslist. They specify that they want an upbeat "people person" and "not a career receptionist." You will receive an email back if you apply (and fit their age requirements, usually 18-24) VERY SOON, probably from a "David." The email address is (right now) persdept2008@aol.com. He says that he has already filled the (nonexistent) receptionist position, but DOES have an entry level management opportunity. He will tell you to call "Rachael" to set up your interview.
You will not hear a company name at ALL in the email. Rachael answers the phone with "Ultimate." Ultimate WHAT? You are given NO idea what the company is about. The only hint of it even having to do with perfume is if you get lost in the hallway (I did) the directory says "Ultimate Fragrance," and David has bottles of perfume on the wall of the office.
They promise you a management job with 60-90 days of paid training, "depending on you" making a SALARY (no word about commission) of "700-800 a week, or 35,000 - 40,000 a year" with room for advancement and promotion. They keep going on about how they will train you, and it's not experience/education they're seeking, but personality.
David talks way too fast for you to ask questions and you are shooed out of the office very quickly -- the interview will take no more than about 10 minutes, and the "application form" is a joke. These just make you THINK it's legit. They only want to make sure you can talk to people and aren't ugly enough to scare everyone off -- so you can hock (fake) perfume.
THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THIS OFFICE ARE David, Rachael, and apparently "Jenny," whom I have not met. You will NOT get an office job like you are led to believe -- you will be trained for a week or two, UNPAID, and then get sent out on the STREETS to peddle their rip-off perfume.
Don't fall for it -- it does NOT sound like a scam at all, or even like you will be selling something! Even I was skeptical when I found other Ripoff Reports on this company. Be VERY careful! This company has gone by Universal Unlimited, World Perfume and Gateway International in the St. Louis area, and is known as Scentura Creations worldwide.

Correct...David is David Jerry Babb age 40. It does also appear that Jenny Weggeman is now his wife. His previous wife was Stacey King.

In Memphis, this company is clearly doing the same thing. They recruited for an entry level management position on craigslist, wont say anything about the company except that they are selling perfume, and invite you in for an interview with the same specs... 35K-40K Salary, $700 a week, 60-90 day paid training period, etc. The names have slightly changed. There is still a "Rachael" , but now there is a Rob. I havent met anyone else, and Rob claimed he was from St. Louis.
They are masquerading now as AED Enterprises.
Rob & Rachael are the only ones I have met.
Rachael emailed me from "enterprises24@aol.com"
In Memphis, they are located at 3639 New Getwell Rd, Suite 13, which doesn't even have a company name listed outside.
Their website is currently www.10milliondollarexpansion.com , which you will notice has many spelling and grammatical errors, along with the fact that it never once mentions their company name.
I have not done the training with them yet, but have no doubts that it is the same. Hope this is helpful.
