I bought a warranty in 2005 for $1,824.00(with 35,200 miles on my car) for seven years or 125,000 miles. In 2006 they paid out $1472.00 for two repairs on my air conditioning. Then in 2009 when I needed a new water pump and then a camshaft sensor, I was told the company was in receivership and not paying for any repair claims. I had to come up with $800.00 on my own because I need my car for work.  It could be as long as two years before I would get reimbursement. My air conditioning is not working (and has not worked for the last two years) and I cannot afford to get it fixed. Where is the warranty that I bought to cover repairs? I have two years (or 40,000 miles) left and obviously I feel ripped off because I paid for a service and am not getting any help.
I called last month and was told that TPA Risk management was overseeing the company and was still in receivership. What can I do to get reimbursed for what I already paid out? And what about future repairs? What recourse do we have????
