Having a 2003 1 Ton dodge Diesel the torque converter locked up and the 8 bolts which hold the converted to the flex plate became loose. This required the converted, input shaft, and flex plate to be replaced. I paid $1700 to Ultimate extended warranty in 2003 for the vehicle.

TPA told they me would not cover the claim because they:

1. Did not cover bolts. These are the 8 bolts which hold the converter to the flex plate which came loose.

2. They said I had a 5th wheel hitch in the vehicle. This is a 1 ton Dodge Diesel. Last time I checked with anyone with a brain, a 1 ton truck is made for pulling a trailer.

3. They said I "oversize tires". I replaced the stock tires with 1 size larger 2 years ago.

It was quite obvious these people just did not want to live up to their end of the deal. The $1700 I spent for the warranty was nothing more than a scam for them to make more money.
