Complaint Review: UltimateMovieDownloads

Do not fall for this website because it's nothing but a scam. Since I have signed up, I was never able to download a single file from that website successfully.

The only thing I was able to download was the company's mp3 player which supposedly monitors and manages the download process. It took one week, at one time, to download at least 21% of one of the latest movies that I wanted to download.

When I asked for a refund through email (11 times), I got no response at all. I tried calling the company through the 866 number that was listed on its website and wasn't able to get through.

This lack of response seems indicative of a non-active email and a phone number in existence that the company is obviously not using (with no address and alternate phone numbers for customers to use). The only thing that seems to be working is the tool that the website uses to freely take people's money, without giving little to no service back in return, and the search engine.

With no way to track this company and its people down, I doubt that anything can be done about this. Hopefully, by filing this Rip-off report (and mine isn't the first and is also undoubtedly, the last), someone from rip-offreport.com or someone else can do something about this. This company can't continue to rip people off like this.
