I just wanted to let everyone know these people are currently in Leander, Texas. A nice teenage girl stopped by my house last night. I was trying to get dinner ready when I heard the door bell.

She goes on to tell me that she lives in the neighborhood and that the sales will support her SOCCER team. So I thought I guess I could buy one book. Yes they were a little over priced but it was for a good cause right.

She even said it was tax deductable. But that is not what got me. A child/teenager comes to your door and asks you to support your local school or other local childrens activites and you almost can not say no.

The most frustrating thing to me is that they are using your local school and organization names to rip people off. What they should really say is " Hi my name is ____. I get paid for ripping you off. Please buy one of these overpriced books so I can earn enough points to go on a dream trip they have promised me. You probably will never see your items and I will probably never get to go on this trip but hey that is life, right?"

Just so you know I plan on contacting the local TV stations, schools and newpapers so they will hopefully tell everyone about this scam. I call it a scam because they lie to you from the get go. You know had they told the truth about earning points for some trip no one would buy the junk they are selling.

If you have been a victim of this company please speak up. Notify your schools in the area that their name may be used in this scam. Notify your home owners association. These people have the means to send out news letters to parents and members of their associations. Spread the word. The really sad thing is that I remember these kids doing this when I was in high school. That was over 10 years ago.

Lets put these people out of business. Well I'm off to place a stop payment on my check. Hey I would rather the bank get my money than these liars who are corrupting our children.
