On Sept. 7 my credit card was charge $4.97 for a 'free' bottle of Pure Hoodia. The original ad was sent to my e-mail address from Team Hoodia, which no longer sends me e-mail...and probably don't exist now. I fell for the ad, and ordered with the understanding that I had 14 days to cancel or I would be placed on an automatic shipment.

When I got my first bottle, I didn't cancel within the trial period, as I thought a small amount was no real test to see if the product would work. Well it doesn't work, at least for me. Now I wish to cancel, and have been unable to do so.

All attempts to contact the company, merely direct me to a woman's voice recording who tells me the representatives are busy, and to please stay on the line and someone will help me. Music plays endlessly, but no one ever answers the line.

When I called the toll free number on the bottle, that has another recording that tells me that number is no longer active in my area. After reading all the complaints on this company and the related affitliates, it is obvious it is a waste of time to try to contact them. There is no recourse other than to cancel the credit card number and have a new one issued.

Hopefully others will not fall for a clever, legitimate looking website like I did. If this company didn't have something to hide, then they would openly answer their clients. Good Luck to all who fell like I did.
