UMG Byer's Edge Unauthorized charge by unknown company that received my information from another company without authorization. Schaumburg, Illinois
As I was reviewing my bank account activity I noticed an unauthorized charge. Using the company info. provided by my bank I looked online for more info and found several entries referring to the same thing I was experiencing.
Fortunately I found all the contact info. that I needed to call the company and get the charge refunded and future charges stopped. It remains to be seen if the charge will be refunded. I asked them who they were and they told me that another company that I had past dealings with (Mineral Science) had given them my all my info. including my card number. This was completely unauthorized and at no time did anyone contact me for permission to share my information.
