Complaint Review: UMG

UMG Money Ahead and UMG RX made unathorized charges for $14.95 for 5 months before I caught it. (I'm an over the road trucker and seldom get home to go over my CC records.) I contacted my credit card co. (Citi ) and refutiated the charges AND got a new card and changed my number. I got credited "conditionally" then UMG convinced Citi to bill me back 3 of the charges and there was nothing I could do but pay it. I have never signed up or given them my card numbers or any information. I contacted UMG by phone and they claimed I signed up and gave me an email address that was not mine. They promised to give me a refund but instead convinced Citi that their charges were legit. They are running a scam for sure and even though I reported them to several national credit card fraud organizations, nothing seems to slow them down... they even get your money AFTER you file a complaint and ask your credit card company to remove the unathorized charges. If they can do this so easily after being reported so many times, how long will it take for a lot of similar schems to start showing up on our credit cards.

I contacted Citi fraud department and urged them to stop doing business with these crooks. I have been a Citi customer for 14 years but I'm going to have to leave them and find a secure way to manage payment of my bills.
