United Services began calling my fiance about a month ago. She was supposed to have been selected for a 1000 dollar shopping spree along with several other things. She had told them she wasn't interested and to be taken off of their calling list.

Well she wasn't taken off. They called repeatedly dispite her request. It was merely annoying until this morning. I decided I would have a talk with them and see if I could get further. With every request I made the associate interupted and repeated that it was free.

I decided to play along and see what they wanted. So I gave them my name, "my bank name", and my "account number", to see their response. Well my fiance was a little ticked that I was toying with them rather than solving the issue, but I'm one that enjoys an arguement.

After they recieved my "information" he tried to get me to talk to a machine. Thats when I decided I didn't want to play. He became angry when I wouldn't answer the machines questions. My fiance got a little upset grabbed the phone and asked if they'd just quit calling. At that time the associate told her to, "quit being such a b***h and answer the questions or I'll charge 200 dollars to Todd's account".

Now I was angry, I demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was transfered to another guy who sounded the same, unclear accent and all. He was friendly at first until I asked to cancel the order. Then he said I needed to give all my information to the machine and at the end I will recieve a cancellation number.

I didn't give any information to the machine to begin with, so I didn't understand why he couldn't just cancel it. I asked if he'd quit calling and he said he would once I gave all my information. I told him I wouldn't, I couldn't remember the account number I gave him to begin with. He then threatened to charge me for 200 dollars if I didn't.

I then asked him for the company name, address, and his name. Unified Services, some fake name: the third or fourth he'd given me, and I'd recieve the address after I gave all my information. Well we go into a heated arguement, he was a little angry that I wouldn't let him interupt. He finally hung up on me when I brought up harrasement, slander, extorsion, and terrorist threats. Not sure how much of that is true, I'm not a lawyer.

He ended up hanging up on me not very happy. I feel that people should know about this company and what they are doing. It's one thing to try to scam people. It's another to yell, curse, and threaten while you're doing it.

BEWARE!!! It is a scam.

We just called a federal number that AT&T gave us. Its supposed to send the call directly to them, and charge them with 25,000 dollars. We won't see any of it but hopefully they'll stop.

Best of luck to all who were got.

P.S. Unified Services, I still want that address!!
