Unified Services told me that with a small fee of 1.95 i can shop on their cite and get free gifts up to $1000 and a free trip to wherever I would like to go.. Im 17 and i've been scammed!!! Internet
One friday night i received a phone call from an unknown number but it wasn't a regular phone number, the caller id came up 1205 which was weird. I answered it and it was a company called unified services stating that i had been selected for a $1000 shopping spree on their website called free gifts america.
Along with the shopping spree i would receive a free vacation to any place i would like to go and they would send me vacation information in the mail in 7 to 10 days. The only catch was i would have to pay a small fee of $1.95. They asked me for my routing number and account number and i was hesitant to give it to them but they kind of pressured me to give it to them and assured me that they could not take out money from my account, so stupidly i gave it to them.
After I got off the phone with them i wanted to check out the cite and see what kind of things they had to offer but i couldnt find the site and the site i did find the pass code i was given didnt work. Thats when i thought i might of been ripped off.
So today i figured i would give it one last try to find the website so i tried to google it. As I scrolled down i came across this cite talking about companies that had ripped people off. So I looked in the site and came across people who had been ripped off by unified services with the same scam they pulled on me and those people had missing money from their account.
I don't know what to do now because if other people had been scammed chances are it happened to me too. I havent checked my account yet so i dont know if any money had been taken but im afraid to check. I want to know if I have a lawsuit especially since im not 18 because i have gotten calls similar to this call i had received from unified services before and when they asked for my age and I told them i was only 17 they told me i wasn't elligible for what ever it was that they were trying to give me, or maybe even trying to trick me into as well, and left me alone. I did tell these unified service people i am not 18 yet and I am only 17 but it didn't seem to matter to them.
If their is anyone that can help me please do I would really appreciate it!!!

Each of our orders are recorded by a third-party verification company. We verify that each order is valid and that the customer did in fact agree to each trial. Additionally, when our customers agree to the trials, they are provided with each of the customer service numbers with which to cancel should they choose to do so before the end of their 10-day trial as not to be charged. The only reason why a customer would be debited is because they failed to cancel in the allotted trial time period.
In your complaint you claim that you went to the web site and that the confirmation number you had been given did not work. That confirmation number is not supposed to be used as your passcode for the Internet shopping spree. The passcode comes in the mail with your package including information regarding any services you might have signed up for.
