Dear CS,
A judgement  has been filed/placed on the house I live in on Jan. 2008, by Unifund CCR  Partners, debt collectors for Citibank. My name is on the deed.  Keith Logan, my landlord & best friend did this to prevent me from becoming homeless in case he  dies before I do.
Keith Logan,  has nothing to do with the  Citibank credit card.

I was deemed totally disabled by a  N.C. Administrative Law Judge. I was placed on SSI-D. I told Citiibank I could only afford to pay them $30.00 per month which seemed to be OK for awhile.
I explained all this  to Citibank. I did not hear anything from Citibank for  years, assuming they wrote it off.

Years later a sheriff served  me  with two  notices from Unifund CCR Partners, to appear in court. I did not have the means to hire a representative.  Due to my terminal disability,  the pain, the loss of strength to walk,  and lack of an immune system I usually do not do well in  public.
I own nothing, explained this to Unifund, and their response was to bad!

IS IT LEGAL, for Unifund CCR Partners, to put a judgement on my landlord's house?

Please advise. Thanking you inn advance. Marianne

I can not believe this judgement is being sold from one collection company to another! Is this legal?

Sessoms & Roger is now leaving messages.

1. Citibank refused my offer to pay them $35 per month out of my SSI-D check.

2.  My debt was sold to Unifund and they refused my payment offer.

3.  NOW!!! Sessoms  & Rogers Collections started calling me!

When does this end?

PS...There is a judgement on the house I live in.

Please advise.

Thanking you in advance.
