Unigard And Issac Hammer, Attorney Garnishing my wages, yet I've never been served Seattle Bellevue Washington

I just received a garnishment and I called the attorney on the papers and explained to them I was never served. They contacted their service and they said a female took the papers at 9:52PM Monday, June 26, 2006. She weighed about 200 lbs., blonde hair and said her name was Stacey.

I don't know if they served the wrong house (but none of the neighbors I know are named Stacey or fit that description).

I only live with my daughter (she had just turned 14 at that time), she is 75 lbs. from 200, and has (and had) dark brown, almost black hair. I am 95 lbs. from 200 lbs. and have medium brown hair.

So neither of us are Staceys, nor do we know anyone by that name, not close to 200 lbs. and neither of us would EVER answer the door at that time of night. We live in a 3 story townhouse, the only time we go on the first floor (there's only the entry, entry closet and garage is to leave/enter the house ). You can't see into the upper floors, so it's not like they could just casually hand us something and run.

It was the beginning of my daughter's summer break, so it's possible one of her friends was over, but they wouldn't have answered the door and they certainly would have given the papers to me or Julie. That is extremely far fetched, but my address is clearly on my townhouse and unless they flat out lied about service they never served me or anyone at my home.

So want do I do to prove it wasn't served correctly? After they talked to me they called the office manager at my work and told her to garnish my next paycheck.
