To whom it may concern:
This letter is to hopefully help anyone out there considering doing any kind of business with Unimweb or Irving Billing Services. These companies are Major Scams and Rip offs!

My story began in March of 2003. I attended a seminar about grants and grant writing. What I walked away with was a bunch of garbage. I was tring to understand what the company wanted and ended up dissatisfied. I wrote a cancellation letter and faxed it to them April 27, 2003 cancelling my commitment with the company. I was assured that I would never be billed again and that they were sorry to see me go.

My deductions had been coming out of my checking account on the first of the month, just as their contract states. After cancelling for the May 2003 deduction from my checking account, there was no deduct on the first of May. I, sadly, figured that the company had done as it promised. Until May 5, 2003 when the "billing company" IrvingWebworks decided that they would just go ahead and continue to deduct the $29.95 charge anyway. That charge resulted in an overdraft on my checking account.

I contacted a person by the name of Edward Mendez and spoke with him about the situtation. He had my refund of $29.95 back in my checking account within 24 hours. Which left the company still owing my for the $20.00 NSF fee. I am still arguing to get my $20.00 back.

I faxed to Ed Mendez the information needed off my bank statement in regards to their transaction. Nothing else on my bank statement pertains to that company, nor is my life any of their business.

This morning, July 12, 2003, I received a phone call from Irving Webworks at 11:11am pacific time zone. The individual I spoke with, John, was one of the rudest people I have yet to encounter in this ordeal. He continues to try to intimidate me and tell me that I have no case against him or either company. As I tried to explain to him that his company has commited a federal offense by going throught the federal reserve he just "chuckled" at me and said good luck.

The company is refusing to refund the NSF created by them unless I give them my complete bank statement.

My question is: Who gave them the rights to my personal life? I never signed a contract with anybody about my personal life. The only part of my bank statement that pertains to them is the overdraft that they have caused me.

I have since had major back surgery, and this stress is not needed.

It has been my experience that people should not deal with these companies who claim they will give you results and then all they do is laugh at you when you have a legal or legitamite problem.

Now I am filing interstate charges against this company over $20.00 plus major pain and suffering. And since I live in Idaho, Unimweb and Irving will be footing a few plane tickets up to Idaho to appear in front of the federal judge, not to mention civil and criminal. And with the help of this web site I feel that I have plenty to back up my story and many others.

I think that a major class action be brought against these companies. If you are interesting in joining please leave a message on this site as I will be checking it daily for respones.

Thank you

#2Consumer Suggestion

A suggestion, it appears that this matter could be settled easily, by sending the company the information they requested by registered mail that way, you have validation that they recieved the information. The company has a right to have you prove that the charge they processed caused an NSF charge on your account.
