Union 76 Gas Station Filled up Propane Gas, Paid $17.98. The clerk charged For 5 gallon, and the tank only took 3 gallons. Folsom, California
On september 9,2010, @ 10.30 am I went to Union 76 to purchase propane gas. The clerk charged Me for 5 gallon, but my tank only took in 3 gallon. I paid $17.98 cash. The price per gallon was $3.29 per gallon. He overcharged me almost $7.00. His responce was thats how they make money.

I worked for a Propane company and all customers were charged the same regardless of how many gallons were in the tank - also you cannot fill a tank completely. A tank only take 80% - check with your State on rules and regulations of tank fills.

Please check their policy. Some places that dont sell much propane charge a minimum of 5 gallons for purchase.
