Complaint Review: Union Furniture

Union Furniture purchased furniture worth $4000 paid in full, manager tried to claim we owed another $1000. Still no sofa set and it's now August 2005. Threatened to charge us $800 to cancel this order. RIPOFF Perris California

August 12th, 2005 Sonia the manager tried to charge us another $1000 when she thought we didn't have our receipts from december 2005. We had used our atm/debit credit union which they ran $3000 on the day of contract and another $1000 three days later.

In February 2005 threatened to charge $800. for restocking fee when we told them cancel the order.Juan told us all the furniture were already in the bin and that we just needed to call in August 2005 for delivery. Sonia had confirmed as well.

August 16th 2005 Manager Sonia called my husband and said that we need to reorder our sectional sofa because they had discontinued the item from their warehouse.

We have had nothing but problems with this company. They have lied and even tried to cheat us on our payment. We are tired of driving out to Perris which is about 1hr. each way from us, to try and resolve this issue. They pretend to not understand nor speak any English when we go over there. this has been a long stressful ordeal for my family.
