I went to a Union Planters Bank branch in Clarksville, TN. and cashed my disability check for the amount of $908.00. When I went to withdraw funds from my accoung at a later date I discovered I had no money in my account. My account should of had a balance of $700.37. Upon investigation I discovered that the amount of $1608.37 was withdrawn from my account the same day that I cashed my disability check. I did not recieve that whole amount, I only recieved $908.00. So where did the money go?????

I called the bank and its main office and have not had this matter resolved at all. They tell me that the tellers drawer amount when audited was correct. SO where did my money go, as I do not have it. I did not get a copy of the transaction at the time it happened or I would of spotted the fraud. When questioned the bank said they do not give recietes or copies of transaction at all.

I just wonder how many other people they have ripped off like this!!!!!

Since I am a hand writing expert I contacted the bank for a copy of the transaction. Upon looking at the copy of the transaction I discovered that the amount of the withdrawl was not filled in by me at all. The account number and withdrawl amount is written in another person's hand. This was done after I signed the withdrawl form, because if it was done like it was supposed to be I would of caught the tellers fraudulance.

I have had absolutely no resolution of this matter even after contacting my attorney. I plan to file a legal conplaint with the better business bureau. I also plan to tell everyone I know never to use any branch or company assocaited with Union Planter's Bank.

Update on Union Planters Bank

#2Author of original report

I had written to the The Comptroller of the Currency, Administrator of National Banks and detailed my delima to them. The took my case and investigated Union Planters to see if the could find out where my money went. I yelled, "HURRAY! Finally something will be done and I can get my money back!" I knew that they did not give it to me, so who or where did it go.

They just sent me the final report of their investigation. They could find no proof of the money not being given to me, or them keeping it. They did an audit of that tellers drawer and found nothing. WELL KICK MY a*s AND ROLL ME OVER IN THE MUD! SURE THEY WON'T FIND ANYTHING NOW......ITS FIVE MONTHS LATER.

Oh course they did not find anything, those idiots told that particular bank teller while I was their that there was a problem and what that problem was. So it's not hard to see what happen from my veiwpoint...she had time to make thing look okay.

SO where is my money, I do not have it, the bank says they do not have it. HUM maybe the ought to follow the paper trail of that teller! I just bet she paid off something with my money, or put it into some hidden account she had.

UNION PLANTERS BANK......I would not trust you with anything I have. I am telling the whole world what kind of fraudulant rip-off artist you really are. THEN just maybe, I will get my revenge and see your business will go belly up.
