I planned a move from wisconsin to arizona. I moved from a small 2 bedroom summer cottage. The salesman said he couldnt come out to do an actual estimate because it was to far.

The estimate came in at $3620.57 real cost turned out to be $5714.88.

When the driver arrived he said his truck was to large and I would have to get a shuttle truck at my expense. He then drove the truck in my back yard and got stuck. his helper said he had to get home early and didnt want to seem to work. When they moved my things on the shuttle i said i would be glad to help but they said no, they could do it themselves. I did help them load the truck. As the day went on and it was getting late I had to leave some garden furniture.

The scheduled delivery date was 12/18/2003.they arrived on 12/17 and proceeded to unload the truck in the front yard, I told them we had not closed yet and couldnt put the furniture in the house.when we finalized the closing they moved the furniture in and the driver dropped the 32" t.v. We had to hurry to the electric company so they wouldnt shut off the utilities. Thus i couldnt inventory the furniture. he told me not a problem just sign the receipt and we had 90 days to make a claim. (so much for trust).

Peter Cooper from Frontier Adjusters, Phoenix,Az came out about the T.V. and said "Hey, it still works." The case is broken and cant be moved. I asked about the tool boxes that were missing ($400.00 socket set and $100.00 cordless drill) but that wasnt his department.

I have e-mailed there claims department and have not heard a word in reponse.

I went with Mayflower because I thought I could trust them, this proved to be a very foolish error on my part.
