I received a letter in the mail for an offer of $10,000 of credit. It went on to add if I was refused approval for a visa or mastercard, they would provide me credit for an annual fee of $37. This sounded too good to be true so I got online and found scam and rip off reports posted. The fact they wanted money upfront was a red flag, especially for such a large amount of credit. For anyone with no or bad credit it sounds good. Any big dollar offers by someone you've never heard of and not tied to a bank is worth avoiding. Beware and know if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
