This company sent a letter telling us that it would give us 10,000 in credit for sending them $37.00...  If you read it like they want you to it had key bolded words in there it make it sound like you are going to get a credit card worth $10,000...  But in reality you get access to "their" products (which you cannot even see) until you sign up...

If anyone is reading this before they sign up, please DO NOT DO IT.  They are only trying to steal your $37.00...  Be careful and think twice before sending anything to them...  It's a really bad move.  kudos to you however for checking things out before buying!

The OP never said they were scammed. They said the company TRIED to scam them. Also, the OP is completely accurate in the way they wrote the letter. If you only read the bold words, like the company is hoping you would do, then you would fall for their scam.

Pre-Approved; Platinum Card Membership; Guarenteed $10,000.00 credit limit; Visa; Mastercard; Low, Low, interest rate of 5% APR; Pre-Approved.

So if you read just that, then you are going to think you pretty much hit the lottery. Also, if you have trouble reading stuff (bad eyesight perhaps?) then you are really only going to see the bold faced words/phrases.

Considering this, perhaps YOU should be the one reading the original report before attacking someone that is just trying to help others out and ensure no one gets scammed.

I recieved this letter and immediatly i knew it was NOT advertising a credit card. You must Read the letter. It clearly says "Pre Approved for a Platinum Card MEMBERSHIP" not a master or visa card. Also at the top of the letter it says NO BANK AFFILIATION... that should clue you in that this has nothing to do with a credit card.

Sometimes we read what we want to read. I know a 10 thouand dollar limit would be great but think about it... you know your credit is not the greatest and all they want you to do is sign??? again a clue that this is not a credit card.

AND THE BIGGEST CLUE OF ALL- there is no phone #! why would you send money in to a company with no phone # and have nerve enough to say they scammed you? PLEASE READ before you just write a check!
